got this from a different site and it had some glitches it misses out dialogue
at some points and the picture sort of stutters at bits as well should be
nuked wait for a proper.
[#105978] Written by: kissmyass [25/09/2008, 23:56]
is it really that bad that its unwatchable?
[#105980] Written by: lan-di [26/09/2008, 00:14]
-=nuke=- grp.req supernatural.402.hdtv-0tv

they nuked it by themselves. some parts have audio problems... like a scratched
record. you don't miss any dialogs, but you hear some scratches over them (not
loud)i just finished it and yes, it's watchable. if you're in a rush, i would
suggest you to watch it, too... because the propers at supernatural, use to be
released late... even the next day (like 4x01 proper-fqm) and even worse next
week (like 3x14 proper-bsgtv).

unless you stand lucky, and another release group has already captured it.

just thought i'd confirm - sound is annoying. at first i thought i knocking my
speaker lines or something, or they were just touching weird; watchable though.

side rant: is it just me, or have the amount of nukes in the "big name" shows
been rather high lately? driving me insane, all so they can try and be the first
out. don't any groups have a qc "department" anymore?
trying holding it back for 30 min and skim through the episode to ensure it's
good damn it. who gives a damn who releases it first - i want a good quality
version over a fast release (seriously, 30 min is crap all to wait).

get proper:
/supernatural.s04e02.are.you.there.god.its.me.dean.winchester.proper.hdtv.xvid-fqm/

from nfo:

"proper notes: 0tv's release was nuked grp.req for audio glitches."

[#106019] Written by: SatoSky [26/09/2008, 04:39]
smallville and supernatural get nuked so often i just download the 720p
releases. i don't have an hd monitor, but they playback just fine. no
macroblocking or audio glitches either.

they do. all that matters to them is releasing first. it's their game and they
have the right to play it the way the want to. do you think they care about you
or anyone else getting good quality or having quotas? they don't give a damn
about p2p users. they don't cap shows for us, they do it for themselves and they
only care about what the other groups have to say.

the fact that we can get our hands on these files is just a consequence of that
race and the existence of release groups (bless them!) that have access to those
files and share them with us.

so don't expect they change their system just because it would benefit p2p
users. be grateful that there is a race at all or none of this would be
possible. this is not to say that we can't bitch about the amount of propers or
that this or that group sucks (coff.. xor coff..) but just know that there's no
chance in hell that the bitching or the proposed solutions will change something.

admin : i like your style.

[#106089] Written by: demondiablo [26/09/2008, 12:21]
just in case anyone was wondering this was an excellent episode. shows story
scripting is only getting better and better with every new season, unlike other
shows that need to be given the swift axe.

that said chichipio gots it right. time and time again i sit here having to
read useless whiny bitch ass posts about how people want their cake and to be
able to eat it to. if you got a problem that theres a half a milisecond stutter
at 44:15 into the ep then maybe you should go and rip the shit yourself!

the miniscular issues that you people point out for a free rip is unbelievable.
make up your own group and come out with your "1337" rips if you people got
such "great suggestions" and critiscism to go around.

admin : and yours too
[#106131] Written by: alex2069 [26/09/2008, 21:33]
ok chichipio, and the admin apparently, that makes no sense at all.
they release them for us. what's the point in releasing them for themselves when
they already have it? lol
or do you think they like releasing them for no apparent reason? they do this
for the "fame" (hence their flawed perception that omgz furst post!!!111), and
you don't get fame from no one, you get fame from people knowing about you. they
release things for us to get fame and acknowledgement for their work - it's for us.

also, they obviously care about quality to some extent, or they wouldn't release
propers, and there would be no nuking system; so someone out there other than
myself care about quality.

i will say this though, i do appreciate their work, and am grateful for it. but
seriously, 30 minutes would not hurt anyone. with all the nuking going on
lately, i'm beginning to "blacklist" certain groups - they can play their little
game of first. but what's the point in being first when fewer and fewer people
bother downloading it?

for fucks sake, do some research ht tp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/the_scene

fame my arse

in dumbdumb language.... as basic as it gunna get

they live in a world of barter

they upload , they get credit to download

there upload is nuked ... they get penalized (loose credit)
[#106186] Written by: alex2069 [27/09/2008, 05:49]
that may be the case (with all their rules or whatever), but why do it all in
the first place? they want recognition of their work - they want to be known as
a good group (which in the end equates to fame/acknowledgement and being well
known and respected)
if their upload is nuked, they lose credit (and respect from their
downloaders)... then why not spend an extra 30 min (hell even 5 min, skip
through it and watch a couple of 2 min scenes here and there) for a qc check?
if they'd only spent two minutes watching this specific episode, they'd have
known there were problems... two minutes! are you telling me that two minutes is
too hard or too long a time to spend on a simple qc to stop them losing their
"credits"?

september 19th 2008 posted to tv shows

ok. the second “s” i’m talking about is “supernatural”. looks like notv and dot
had a fight tonight, coz they pred this episode almost the same time. however,
the winner goes to notv, which is about 7 seconds faster. back to the series,
there is no doubt that dean

7 seconds . . .

remember, they hate p2p, we do not exist in their eyes except for the threat to
their existence do to the publicity we give their product
[#106204] Written by: alex2069 [27/09/2008, 08:06]
wow, i didn't realise it was down in the seconds to a release time. that's
actually rather impressive, lol.
however, in the eyes of the users; their "fans" if you will (no matter via. p2p
or irc or usenet, whatever their release methods), 0tv has lost a small amount
of "respect/fame/whatever" from me (and likely other users) because of their
lack of qc and the fact that we had to waste time downloading it twice. (not
singling out 0tv here, most groups have this problem)

had eztv released the dot release as well, i would've chosen them over 0tv,
simply because of the fact that i've had more 0tv release problems than dot - so
no matter their credits or whatever, and no matter how i was obtaining it (i
have on occasion gone via. irc/usenet, though usually bt), constant propers
hurts them more than it does to release it 7 seconds earlier than their rivals.
which is my main point.

i've seen multiple comments on many different series from many different groups
with users complaining about quality, and being forced to download a proper. if
i had known before hand that 0tv was going to release a nuked version, i
wouldn't have even bothered with them, and because of the fact that i've been
burnt from them so many times, i'm willing to wait 7 seconds for a dot release
that is of good quality.

i.e. look at the comments of the sg:atlantis release. the first post is about a
quality question. what does that tell you? sure, it's over bt - p2p that they
"hate", but there's not way this is centralized over bt, i'd be just as pissed
over irc/usenet, and question their release all the same (and likely going to
someone else). yay! they get "credits" for releasing for... yay! fewer people
care because they constantly release untested and possibly buggy versions. :/

rant coming. beware!

you don't seem to understand. your whole reasoning is based on an wrong idea.
despite the many comments that came after mine, you still refuse to accept that
they hate the very existence of us in all its flavors. it doesn't matter whether
you're using bt or usenet or whatever you wanna use, the point is that you're
not scene. you talk about fame and acknowledgment and it's true that they care
about that but, you're very mistaken on the "from-who" part. they care only (can
i stress that word enough? ok, here it goes again, read it! only) what other
scene's members/groups have to say about it, so forget the "they've lost
credibility in my eyes" argument. they don't care about us! so you can choose to
maintain your idea on this point, only know that it's wrong and unless you
change it and start thinking on this terms, we can continue discussing anything.
we're are talking apples and you're talking oranges. there's no point in there.

on the other parts of your posts i read yet more wrong ideas. once you'll get
the stated above, i think you'll stop asking "what's the point of the whole
thing." but anyway, in case you need it explained, it's their game played by
them and for them, so they can play it in anyway they like and they don't need
to explain whys or why not's to you or anyone else.

look at what you're saying from their eyes!! think of this: let's say you and
your wife and doing "things" in the bedroom and a neighbor is pepping. would you
appreciate if that neighbor start saying stuff like "hey, why don't you do it
like this? i'd be able to get a better view" or "no, not that again, you did
that just yesterday." the more than obvious answer is no! the neighbor's point
of view is neither asked for nor appreciated, so stop doing the same with the
scene. if you're kinky and like to watch, be grateful that you can do so and
stop complaining about how they're doing it!

and if you're still not convinced at least try and think about this part. it's a
race for crying out loud! would you stop just before the end line to check
whether your hair looks great risking that the one coming in second (cause'
there's always someone coming in second, be sure of that) beats you to it??
really, would you?? what if i'd told you that your 'fans' like you better when
your hair looks a certain way? what? not even then you'd stop? hmmm... thought
so. so stop asking for them to stop and watch the file before releasing it just
because you'd like it better like this. and another thing about the race.
there's not second place. that's why it's so important to win. if you came in
second, bad luck, your file doesn't get to stay. so stop asking questions like
"why doesn't eztv release the other version?"
[#106257] Written by: alex2069 [27/09/2008, 22:28]
hmmmm... i wouldn't really call that a rant, it was rather informative and
coherent. i didn't realise it was all for a such a small group of people and all
elitist-like rulings. the sex analogy was rather insightful, lol.

though that sucks that we just have to take it as it comes out just because of
some insane rule scheme. yea, i get that it's not for us, but i highly doubt
they do it "just for themselves"; they know at some level the general public
will be looking at them, and looking to them for it. no matter how much a
small-nit group it's supposed to be, no one likes to be seen as incompetent by
anyone.
i guess that's where the whole "don't hate the player, hate the game" thing
comes from.
