i just started to download these higher quality files, since i have more room on
my hard drive to store them, and also becuz i just bought a new hd television.
the video quailty on these typesa of files are amazing, however i noticed the
audio level is lower. is there a certain codec needed to restore higher audio?
or would i need a new audio card?
if anyone has any answers i would be much obliged.

the ep was great - after two previous fairly slow-moving ones.
however, i thought the release itself was pretty weak (considering nbs hr ones
are usually great).
what's with the rip from global? (which has a massive dog that kept changing
colour every now and again through the course of the episode)
why couldn't they get a rip from a fox channel?
also, the 5.1 was pretty weak (had to turn my amp up +10db higher than normal).
the compression was dodgy too - loads of artifacts, and it just looked a bit
muddy overall imo.
compared to the hr release of rome i watched just now, it was in a different
league altogether.
