please, stop with the mp4/mkv's already. only costs the user more time to reencode to divx format to we can actually watch these again. subtitles files (srt, sub) doesn't work with vobsub codec on mp4 files with windows media center. so, please, don't do that or at least make a mkv file. |

yep, totally agree, eztv, please pay attention to these complaints. we are downloading elsewhere, and why would we bother? because the format just doesnt play correctly on a lot of machines. particularly laptops with onboard video cards |

this has nothing to do with eztv. most groups are doing mp4's now and eztv is probably releasing whatever's available first. instead of whining why don't you just get what you can from here and the rest from other sites without making any noise? |

1996 -- dvd movies 2001 -- xvid 2003 -- h.264 (x264) 2006 -- blu-ray 2012 -- "the scene" adopts h.264 (x264) xvid vs. h264, old tech vs. new tech. .wav vs. mp3. old tech vs. new tech. older tech usually last about 10 years. stop bitching and whining about xvid vs. h.264 (x264) and avi vs. mp4 and mkv. you can't put your vhs tape in a dvd player or your 8-track audio cartridge in a cassette player. nor can you put your 12" vinyl alubm in your cd player. time and technology change...get used to it. grow up and realize that the world does not stop advancing just for you. spend $50 on a stand-alone network/wifi/usb player for your tv. or take your free torrents, your free time, and free apps to convert files to whatever format you choose. fyi: $50 divided by 10 years = $5 per year, or 42 cents per month. with a $100 stand-alone product you're still only spending 83 cents per month. that's less than a cup of coffee or a can of red bull. eventually all scene releases, and most non-scene release, will be h.264/x264...until another new tech comes along in ten years. |

"eventually all scene releases, and most non-scene release, will be h.264/x264...until another new tech comes along in ten years." same words were used with mkv few years ago....blah h.264/x264 is as annoying as new release of iphone...we're same as old but we're brand new. |
