well, i just thought it reminds me of "life on mars" --- you have a guy (incidentally, police investigators in both shows) in an "impossible" situation, and he (and the viewer) know damn well that it can't be true unless there's something really really ultra strange going on, but nobody knows what it is. personally, i don't expect all that much in terms of "what it is". i don't think this is a show about a guy with the ability to move between alternate realities; it will be more like a "freak accident superhero" type thing by solving cases with information from "the other reality". and whatever "it is", i don't really expect anything big --- at some point they'll run out of cases or viewers and axe the show, and we'll get a final episode telling us something just to shut us up. maybe he is the one who's dead waiting for george to show up, maybe he's in a coma and switching "realities" based on who's talking to him, maybe he's on a spaceship covering a 20-year trip with a dreamworld that's not functioning properly, who knows. right now, i'm not really expecting the scifi route with someone or something actually switching realities --- but then again, alien abductions had to have *some* reason :-) |

is it me or does this video has some errors in it? sometimes i see horizontal "lines". it looks like the upper part doesn't match the lower part exactly. happens from time to time. it's always just a single "line". tried two different players, but maybe it is my pc or decoder lib. |
