weirdnes with dimension keeps piling on originals dimension release works poi dimension release works agents of shield dimension do not work on a mkv capable device i am sure there is others. wth is going on with dimension |

/me glares at xman100. this release meets the high standards set by the scene. the sd x264 tv releasing standards 2012 http://scenerules.irc.gs/n.html?id=2012_sdtvx264u1.nfo the 720p x264 tv releasing standards 2011 update 2 http://scenerules.irc.gs/n.html?id=2011_tv_x264_u2.nfo it plays correctly on a pc with a capable video player. it plays correclty on most stand-alone devices...but not all devices. |

maybe it does but why does some of their releases work like i just posted must mean that those not working has something changed about the codec |

you are asking questions, commenting on, or soliciting other people's qustions and comment, on something that none of us have any control over. we are not the scene. if you know how to contact the scene them then go for it. otherwise, no matter how frustrating the situation may be for you, or others, posting the same thing over and over in our forums will not change anything....and can be a bit annoying. i could, if i wanted to, analyze the files and possibly determine the cause...but to what end? i have no communication with dimension. you are more than welcome to dedicate tens, hundreds, or more, hours to learning all about the video apps/utilities/codecs/encoding/transcoding and all the processes that are involved, then perhaps you could find the root cause for you particular issue. you could then spend the following year or two working your way into the scene where you might have a say in the rules and could challenge the release. if your inquiry is academic and you are prepared to learn on your own, then great! otherwise it's kinda pointles...imo. |

heck, it could be worse. the vtv version is sourced from cbc, which runs those annoying onscreen ads. | |||||
