yep, reading the show description i thought, royal pains, but being on usa network it's probably going to show more skin, have more sex, or in some way be racier or more vulgar. i haven't watched it. waiting for someone who has, to comment. |

i have heard it being described as "royal pains" meets "ray donovan" . rating: tv-14-ls (may be unsuitable for children under the age of 14 with advisories for coarse language and sex) so far it has 3 positive reviews,3 negative and 8 mixed reviews on metacritic. http://www.metacritic.com/tv/rush-2014/critic-reviews |

aren't they both on usa?
that makes sense. i'd add "mob doctor." after all, being a concierge doctor isn't illegal, it's just distasteful because you're taking this fabulous ability to heal people and using it to sell out. feuerstein's character had to be invested in helping the poor locals too, because otherwise he'd be a douche bag. the same goes for plastic surgeons - like mjf's "doc hollywood" or the sean vs troy conflicts in "nip/tuck." anyway, from the sound of it, the character in rush is going to be breaking the law, so that's like "ray donovan," but it's also like "mob doctor" - the difference there being that the main character was basically blackmailed and wanted out, whereas ray and this guy are committing crimes for financial gain. |

10 mins in and the pace is frenetic. it needs to settle down because as it is it's barely watchable. | |||||
