first episode looked good, although a bit slow in pace (unlike shark and the
now-gone justice) as there is a bit of personal drama here. hope things pick
up (and not get cancelled ... lol)

i doubt fx will cancel 'damages'; the ratings are good. that, and it's a great
show.

there was more depth and subtlety in this than a dozen eps of trash like shark
& justice.
don't get me wrong - i *like* shark and download and watched the whole series
(justice not so much), but i fully realise it's just mental chewing gum.
damages is much more satisfying fare.

more like.. they won't cancel it because they have no other good shows.

thanx eztv.
i wasn't too impressed by glenn close in her early years of acting (except of
course for her famous 'bunny-boiler' role on the big screen), but she's like a
good wine - the older she gets the better she gets. she was great in the
shield and i'm looking forward to a nice long series of damages so she can
strut her stuff some more.

i swear -- fx has some of the best shows i've seen in years. 'damages' is
another worthy addition (much like 'the riches' was in march).

what, you dont like rescue me, its always sunny in philly,
nip/tuck, the shield, or the riches. those are some of my favorite shows.
sure didn't. the only other fx show i watched and didn't mind.. was the
greatest american hero.. a while back.
i checked out the pilot last night for damages.. it looks good. glenn close is
great and i hope this show goes the distance.

if you look at the show on imdb it shows that only 8 episodes have been
made...is that considered a season? are they going to wait and see if the
ratings are good enough to warrant another slate of episodes?
i don't like shows that go back and forth in timelines and make you get too
invested in them when there's a possibility that they won't get renewed so
that you get some kind of resolution.
