sorry to say but what does this have to do with it anyway. i did not find that
even remotely funny...

that was my reaction, too, when i watched the first episode of the first season
(and no more). it seemed like standard setup-punchline-setup-punchline sitcom
material--and with a laugh track as well. the only thing it was missing was
ricky gervais' "are you having a laugh?" guy from the fake sitcom within
"extras."

finally! i'm so happy to see the second season. :d
"the it crowd"
is the best
thing that brits done in tv after "coupling"

coupling was wank... what about garth marenghi's dark place, peep show, the
mighty boosh, black books...

i actually though the first season of this tried to take a bit of black books
humour.. the slack lead, the goofy counterpart and the sheila.

while keeping it's own, there was a bit of dry irish humor in it.

glad to see it made a s2 !!

wait - you stopped watching after the first episode of season 1 but ... came
here just to point it out?

*clap clap clap*

no go back to dancing with the stars or big brother...

wow! a normal sit-com with laughtrack and a rating of 0.84

i thought i'd seen everything... this is so not funny and i love comedy...

edit: now i finished watching it and after the lame first minutes it's actually
quite funny. i'd expect it to have like a 0.65-0.7 on eztv...

i came here to remind myself what the show was, since it had totally left my
mind. it's not like the title would ring any bells, since as a previous poster
pointed out, it's not really about it in that it doesn't draw from it for
comedy.

you lot must be mad - 'the it crowd' is a load of wank.

typically piss-poor british sit-com.

i couldn't get through more than half of it cos i got sick of cringing.

it's no wonder the pubs over here do so much good business.

oh, and 'nathan barley' was utterly lamentable crud.

i reckon some of you posting must be part of the team that made the pile of
shite.

you are right, i will immediately stop watching!

what are you trying to get out of your post? it sure as hell isn't useful.

i'm glad this show is finally back cos i think moss is terrific!

there's a us version?

i'm trying to continue my quest for truth, justice and the american way - wtf
do you think i am trying to get out of my post?

the show is piss poor and i just do not believe there are that many freaks out
there who actually like this shit.

so i do suspect dodgy goings on.

oh, and the original reason i posted was because i was annoyed that i wasted
the time and effort to bother downloading it, (even though it was only a few
mouse clicks), because of all the misinformation posted above.

does that answer your question?

i watched this last night on actual tv...

it is good...but predictable...i had to mute it during the whole disabled
back-stage tour dialogue. (it was just getting too painful for me to watch.) i
knew from the start that it would come back down with the "looking like a guy"
comment and heat magazine...

i was laughing at the whole gay: the gay musical over the top gayness.

this is one of the channel 4 sitcoms i can stand watching. (peep show gets
painful to watch about 5-10 minutes in each episode, green wing lost me at the
start of the second series...but i can't remember why.)

comparing this to the equivalent show in america - the big bang theory. (two
geeky guys and a woman, deals with relationships, 30 minute sitcom.) this is
better (although comparing just the pilots...only just.)

i'm quite surprised people are getting so worked up over this.

as far as i'm concerned it's just yet another utterly predictable lowest
common denominator vapid laugh-tracked shitfest.

it's not remarkable in any way, shape or form.

this sort of completely forgettable crap gets churned out by the metric ton,
year in year out, by broadcasters both sides of the pond.

yes... it\'s predictable, shows like this usually are, but it\'s still funny if
you ask me.

good actors pulling of funny characters. that makes up for a lot in a show like
this.
