life on mars spin off with dci gene hunt and some other chick in 1981
h**p://tvrage.com/shows/id-15504

sample image - h**p://img145.imageshack.us/img145/3804/ata101pdtvriverui5.jpg
format: xvid/mp3
runtime: 58:54.640
resolution: 640x352 (360p)
aspect ratio: ~16:9
video bitrate: 1525kbps
fps: 25.0
bits/pixel: .271
audio: 128kbps vbr, 2ch stereo, 48khz

yeah at 58.9min runtime the file could of been 550mb (or even 440mb (allowed by
tvx2k7 rules)) but that doesn't matter much

for all those who are wondering, "what the heck is this?",
ashes to ashes is a
sequel the popular british television drama series life on mars. if you don't
know what life on mars is, well, maybe this show isn't for you.

i know what life on mars is but i never saw it does this mean that ashes to
ashes is not for me ether ?? i am so confused right now.........

anyway first 5 mins bit rubbish acting...bit of a rubbish plot twist but once
she gets to the 80s..then it starts getting good..funny most of the time

you should really watch life on mars first...knowing the characters help with
the humour and you should really watch life on mars

i thought life on mars was vastly overrated but i gave this ago and found it to
be just the same.

the only difference this series has is that she's aware of her situation.

it goes straight to 700mb because this is a premium show,
not too many episodes, and if you appreciate it enuff to d/l it you will
appreciate it more in the better bitrate :-) it also better supports tv usage
where it looks far superior, especially on higher def larger panels.

well its actually mostly because river is following the older unwritten uk tv
encoding where if a show is 52+ min you encode at 700mb regardless of
53min or 85min

but i'm not complaining because it does look quite good, i'm just wondering
whats the dimensioning point for a ws.pdtv source 640x352 xvid where the quality
is at its best for the res used at a certain bitrate.

life on mars was probably the best cop show ever created. so i'll give this a
go, too.

i loved life on mars but it's too bad the creators behind this one clearly
havn't done their homework. who ever heard of a whiteboard in 1981. makes me
wonder what else they've overlooked.

life on mars was an awsome show, and it looks like ashes to ashes is going to
be following right in it's foot steps.

um, they were invented in the 60s! true they, didn't catch on for a while, but i
certainly remember at least seeing them by the late 70s. of course i don't live
in the uk, but since the company that invented them does...
