what is this forum based on?
doesn't it miss some of the basic functionality, like a option to search the
posts? or an option to see your own recent posts.
another question, have my last post been deleted?
i made a post, asking if a show could be reseeded, because i have no peers to
connect to
am i posting it the wrong place or something? it was the only place i was
allowed to post.
i reed in the rules that
9. limit of two reseed requests per day
and this is only my first.

i assume that by "to do a search" you mean that you're trying to use the main
page search feature. to paraphrase lincoln (who was probably ripping off
disraeli), the main-page search works for all of the people some of the time,
and... well, yada yada yada.
please understand that eztv's focus is on providing links to show episodes that
have become available today. so, while the provision of clustering all the
past links to any particular title is provided, that ability is not a primary
importance.
so, really, all the "search" does is jump to the collection of the historical
links to a particular title, in one click. if it fails, the easy (two-click)
path is to click on [show list] and scroll to the title you're looking for.
the admins on this site do appreciate feedback on your experience with the
search feature, but seem to be more focused on the primary goal and "getting
back to the bevy of double-d's and the case of chivas in the hot tub;" whatever
that means.
as i understand it, it means that desired features (such as a fully-functional
search) are slated for implementation in some future version of eztv, but are a
lower priority than something called "heather, dierdre and misty."
at least, that's what i like to think.

rusty: if you have been here before aydin started helping us, the first 20
threads of the forum would all be about the same topic, and everyone spamming
about the same thing. we set a rule that all requests (of any kind) be directed
to the sticky thread. if you have an issue with this rule we have put in place

the main issue with your request was that you wanted a reseed on an old show,
and we are about providing new shows, so eventually after awhile the old shows
will become invalid. even asking in a new thread would probably result in the
same response as the sticky thread.
