new cbs reality series, pirate master, from the creator of hit show survivor, will sail it's way onto sky one on sunday, june 10th 2007. the premiere episode will make land at 7pm, with a repeat the following friday at midnight and saturday at 3pm. from the second episode onwards, which aired last night on cbs in the us, the premiere time will be 8pm every sunday, with the friday repeat staying the same and the saturday afternoon repeat dotting about around 3-4pm. as you may know, the series was created by mark burnett. it seems pirate master has been successful where survivor was not - it made it's way onto british tv, and better yet, it made it onto the uk's leading channel for us television - sky one. despite reported successful ratings, pirate master has been called a duplicate of survivor, only with slightly different rules and of course a different theme. although survivor may never reach us brits, at least we'll have pirate master and the amazing race (airing on livingtv) to keep us happy! don't miss pirate master - sundays on sky one starting this sunday - june 10th!
