actress lizzy caplan is reportedly working with hbo to develop a new comedy series. the project will be based on the book i don't care about your band by julie klausner. the original memoir follows klausner's experiences with men and dating while in her twenties. according to deadline, the show will be produced by gary sanchez productions, set up by hollywood star will ferrell and anchorman director adam mckay. ferrell and mckay will executive produce the project, while caplan will also produce and star in the series. caplan previously had a recurring role on hbo's supernatural drama true blood. earlier this month, she bemoaned the cancellation of her starz comedy-drama party down.
