A&E has released another trailer for its’ upcoming supernatural drama The Returned. The Returned is a remake of the French series Les Revenants. The series debuted on 26 November 2012 on Canal+ and won an International Emmy for Best Drama Series in 2013. According to the producers of the A&E adaptation, the new show will diverge from its source material somewhere around episode six. However, when looking at the two trailers that have been released until now it seems pretty much like a shot-for-shot remake of the original. The American actors seem to be cast to resemble the French actors. Camille and Lena are not redheads but still strike an uncanny resemblance to their French counterparts.The new American version of The Returned comes to us from Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel, The Strain) and Raelle Tucker (True Blood) and stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Mark Pellegrino, India Ennenga, Sandrine Holt, and Jeremy Sisto.
