"the file size is small because it's .mkv" er, that's not the case. mkv is a container, not a video format. while it's probably h264 video in there, which usually compresses a bit better than xvid/divx for the same bitrate - the file size is small because it's low resolution/quality. nothing wrong with that, it's a pre-air. personally, i'm waiting for the hd. |

i can 't say for sure this will work for 360 but does for ps3. grab mkv2vob and convert the mkv to an mpeg. load that mpeg into badaboom (nvidia gpu encoder) and select ps3 as the source (or xbox360) and it will convert the file to mp4, or whatever format is supported by the device you pick. normally, just the mpeg is fine but since this is a homemade half assed copy, the audio will go way out of sync if you do that, so convert to mp4 and it will play fine. res isn't that bad, and you can use your devices zoom feature to crop the black borders out. "er, that's not the case. mkv is a container, not a video format. while it's probably h264 video in there, which usually compresses a bit better than xvid/divx for the same bitrate - the file size is small because it's low resolution/quality." yes and no. as clearly stated in the title, it's x264 not h264, seems like a minor thing but it isn't. the file size is directly related to the resolution, which is horrific. if you are watching on your pc or small sd tv, it's fine. |

great episode, amc didn't hold anything back. btw, there's already a fansite at http://walkingdead-tv.info for those interested. |

quality like this shouldn't be posted. it's always either 720p or 360p. why start to include everything else, we'll be swamped in episodes then. |

well, resolution for mobile phone, but quality is good, definitely watchable. it premieres 31. so if you don't want to wait.... it was really good and interesting, perfect camera shots and brutal stuff. but decently brutal. ;-) |

this is an .mkv file ( like all the blu ray stuff) file so if you can't convert to .mkv this ain't gonna work.... :( |

awesome to get this a week before it airs (picked it up on release day, just hadn't yet commented on it.) sure, the res is a bit on the lower side but it's from the screener that was sent out from amc, it's like getting still-showing movies on vhs tapes (ah, vhs...how we don't miss thee.) it's watchable, it's watchable early...why would anyone complain about that?! for what it's worth, played perfectly on my netbook using vlc (which plays .mkv files just fine...watched 5 seasons of "the batman" without a hitch.) |
