as has already been stated adnausem here, the 350mb rips have already been
released a week ago.

do a search for 24 from the mainpage, they were released on the 7th january.

i hope that the 350mb files will still be around... i hurt for bandwidth and
can't afford to dl these at 1gb each. plus i think the quality is already fine.
keep up the great work all around : )

i also use xbmc as my main media playback device and while it pains me to say
it, it is very close to retirement. the xbox does a great job with the hr
releases (which is no doubt why i currently prefer this release format) but
sadly the more 720p we see, the closer the xbox is to retirement.

hardware upgrades are painful, but in this case, probably overdue.

if you want this in mp4:

1 - get mkvextractorgui
2 - extract the video and audio (you get an .h264 and .ac3 file)
3 - get yamb
4 - in yamb add your .h264 and .ac3 file to mux and it'll make an mp4

you can also use megui instead of yamb, they both run mp4box anyways.

might have to rename .h264 to just .264 to get it to recognize, same thing

i love 720p but why in the matroska container ?? ok, it saves some space but
no standalone or media gateway can play that format yet :-(

i'd rather watch the episodes on my 37" lcd-tv instead of my 19" tft monitor.

i tried to convert it into .avi but unsuccessful so far because no tool i
tried is working. virtualdubmod says something about an "memory access out of
bounds" and mkv2avi just terminates itself after starting the conversion...

so please release it .avi !

i have had the same problem eith virtual dub mod and mkv2avi. than i found
another program - "super" by "erightsoft" and it is working, so enjoy it. it is
freeware.

have somebody some link to titles for this version(also other episodes)? if yes,
please send it to my email ([email protected])
thanks a lot

hey guys, i'm having trouble with these...

i know how to play .mkv files, but i think it's with the saints rips (i.e.
episodes 1 - 4). all the ctu ones play fine (episode 5 -9 are fine), but with
the saints rips.. i can play them, but if i try to skip with vlc (i tried both
0.85 and 0.86a) by clicking and dragging the time, then it crashes.

anyone having this trouble?

other than that, great release. if you want full quality, recording your
own .ts file from qam tv is better. ota is even better. i did some screen caps
between the 3, and ota wins, but... its a huge 5gb you gotta store each week
=p great work!

350mb => 700mb release = day and night. 350mb is terrible. it's about as bad
as analog tv. resolution is worse but remember 350mb files are hd rips so the
source is decent. 700mb puts you at dvd quality. mpeg encoding compromises
quality a bit, but still sharp, and resolution is slightly higher than dvds.

720p version is where it gets uber clear. it's not as big of a difference from
700mb, but there is clearly a distinct difference. it's not like the 350 =>
700mb jump but when you do watch your shows on an hd set, it makes a big
difference.
