robert jordan wrote books 1-11 of 'the wheel of time' fantasy series (sold 44 million copies
worldwide) before he died.
author brandon sanderson was chosen by harriet mcdougal (jordan's widow) to finish the wheel of
time series. sanderson has already written books 12 & 13.
book 14 (which will complete the series) will be published in 2012.

oy vey. he's over the hump of the story now, the middle/peak of a story is always the hardest. i
think the next two will come far more quickly now. and they have 6 more seasons minimum of material
in the other 4 books. i think it is far less likely viewership will stay up to get all the books
adapted. four seasons is my guess.
