level up is an upcoming live-action show from cartoon network. the premiere movie of the series
premiered on november 23, 2011.[1] the tv series will air soon in january 2012.
after high schoolers wyatt (gaelan connell), lyle (jessie t. usher), dante (connor del rio) and angie
(aimee carrero) unwittingly open a portal from a video game into the real world, characters from the
game and internet start leaking into the real world. the group now finds themselves balancing their
everyday lives with the extraordinary things that show up in their town. it will spoof video games. jagex
and rooster teeth were brought in as consultants.

i like the mix of animation and live action.
it reminds me of dungeons and dragons from the 1980's, i know that was all animation but the contents

i'm 28 and i liked it. yes, the show is dorky and cheesy, but in a very charming way. it totally
fulfills your expectations (come on, the tag line is "monsters get out of video game!" ). gonna watch
ep. 2 for sure.

there's something for everyone...this one's definitely not for me and i won't be watching the next
episode. it wasn't horible, i just didn't care for it. i think it will appeal to kids and some young adults.

i agree, i'd definitely like it if i was a teenager.
however, playing video games hasn't been my cup of tea for quite some time now...

well i am halfway through the ep and finding it hilarious. perhaps you need to be a die hard d&d or
wow player to enjoy it for its silliness. i also think there's something a little monty
python-esque about it (maybe that's the bard's influence - brave, brave sir robin!)
