how do you play .mkv files?

use vlc player and mkv is just a container system. meaning you can put anything in it like a video
and a bunch of subs. kinda like avi.

nope.
both vlc and gom are stable, quality, trusted apps.
both have been around for about ten years,
millions of downloads and users.
never a report of adware, spyware, or virus.

i was talking more about the text in quotes sounding suspicious, and i was saying it as a joke. guess i
should have gone with the "he must work for them or something" joke instead.
