the first ep of the 3 part australia trip was ep 12.
check it out at next-episode web site.
this is either peavey bike 2 or it's named incorrectly.
i really wish people would put the bike build name in the file. it would solve
all these problems.

this is australia 1. the air dates won't match up from when this is
aired/released because they first air on regular discovery a week or two before
they appear on their hdtv channel.

so well worth that extra week wait imo.

i used to really like this show, but...i don't know, it kinda got a bit -
kiddy. it's a shame, because their bikes are amazing. just watching them
throwing spanners at each other every ep got boring.

i stand corrected then. ep 11 is australia bike pt1. i was only going off the
web site that hasn't been wrong in the past....
i wouldn't worry about missing the show, i know plenty of people who went and
said it was terrible. a write up in a bike magazine said the same thing. waste
of money.
the teutuls put a notice on their web site some time ago appoligising to
everyone who paid and didn't have a good time. they didn't control the
schedule for the show and they didn't know it was going to pan out that way
either until it was too late.
i guess that says something about the guys.
i agree the show has lost some of it's appeal. i liked it when it was just
building bikes. all this smashing stuff when they go to client's offices is
pathetic. you can tell it's so staged it's not funny. who are they kidding? do
people actually believe that they're smashing things that haven't been staged.
take the bike for example when they put the pressure cleaner on it. as if the
company would leave an employee's bike right there. come on!!!
a few people around work are getting annoyed with the antics and are thinking
of not watching the show anymore. i have to agree, i'm getting the same way.
i wish jessie james did a bike building show and he went around the country
reviewing other bike builders work. it wouldn't even have to be just about
bikes as he does some great stuff with his classic vw he has.
oh well....

yeah i also heard the show was terrible. i know someone who went and they didnt
really enjoy it. they just sorta turned up and built a kit bike and that was it.
i remember that their schedule for that day was very based on pleasing the
select few "vip" ticket purchasers. so that didnt leave much time for the ppl
who couldnt afford or missed out. pretty unfair if you ask me. also really poor
planning.
i still love the show. i agree the trashing stuff at clients offices is just
stupid. but the actual design, bike building, the pranks, the side stories, and
mikey are still awesome. i never really liked the arguments that jr and sr had
in the older episodes. was dragged on too much and just got irritating.
so in the end id take setup smashing stuff over boring irritating arguments anyday.

yes, when they get down to the bike designing then it's really good. i just
wish there was more of it
i think it's going the way of inked - they lost sight of why people tuned in.
