"uhhhh... i was just tying my shoe." that likely won't last too long, as mesnick has been announced as the centerpiece of next season's the bachelor. the 32-year-old kirkland, washington-based single father will see how hard it is to be in control of the roses when he chooses from 25 female suitors. mesnick previously told realitytvworld.com that he would consider taking the bachelor gig if it were offered to him. according to abc, mesnick is looking for a mate who "has a real curiosity about the world, who loves life, and can find passion in life's smallest moments." casting is currently under way for the 25 women. sloppy second chances seem to be the new thing for the bachelor and the bachelorette. like mesnick, deanna pappas was also a runner-up, in the previous edition of the bachelor.
