ty eztv for the bsg every week. truly appreciate that.

as to the sound, in the past i have not had buzzing, but i have noticed
sometimes the sound effects and music are much louder than the actors speech.

i do not know if it is my pc either, it doesn't happen every time and sometimes
will happen with stargates or wwe. some shows i never have that happen, some
just once in a while. i have the updated codecs and vlc player.

if anyone can figure this out i'd appreciate any advice i am hippychic1us on yahoo.

thanks again!

there's an annoying 60hz buzz on the audio. i wish the cappers would
check their shit out before they upload it. i agree it was the action
that made this show exciting, from the moment in the miniseries that
they hit the space station with missles and blew themselves up along
with it, to the nukes on caprica to the computer takeovers and the
need for a low tech battlestar to the viper launches to the realistic
way they depict manuevers in space with the retro jets and the otherwise
silence in deep space. 3x04 where galactica free falls into orbit
around new caprica was the most exciting thing i've ever seen in scifi,
and i was in the theaters for star wars in 1977. i was jumping out
of my chair cheering on the tv. that just never happens.

but the painful way they try to be politically correct with all the
women in this show is obnoxious. the two biggest jock fighter pilots,
starbuck and boomer were converted to women for this series. lee doesn't
do shit anymore. the 2nd battlestar... commanded by a woman. the president
of the colonies... a woman. most of the cylons... women. it's all too
mushy and far fetched. and i'll repeat my main complaint, there's no
science ship and no engineer. i could give a crap if they want to have
relationships and babies and love triangles. that's pointless to their
survival, which depends on their finding water, food, fuel, & raw materials
for spare parts. the cinematography is getting on my nerves also, with
the herky jerky camera shots and the painfully dull gray look to everything.
and yes i love the fact they put xena in there, but c'mon. it needs help.

... and, the 3x04 episode, where galactica free falls into orbit
around new caprica was also the most exciting thing i've ever seen in tv or
cinema!!!!!!

let me say i love battlestar, i'm not critisizing the show at all, and ron
moore is a god, i mean star trek and battlestar. its just that the show seems
to be taking a turn toward the soap opera lately. i love good story lines and
such, but the plot is not evolving, not going anywhere, a touch of the lost's
about it i'm afraid.

lets hope things change, some edge of the seat stuff is required, or some sort
of shake up....

poor you. i can't wait for each episode.

i only started watching bsg last month when i started dloading the first 2
seasons. once i got into it i just couldn't stop and have been watching an
episode or three every day. now i have finally caught up and have to wait, so i
suppose i can understand your frustration. however since i have condensed every
episode ever in such a short time perhaps i have a different outlook on the
show. i can see clearly how it has evolved as it is all very fresh in memory and
can safely say the show is not dying, far from it. how you can say it is dying
and the plot is not evolving is beyond me.

the age of tv where action and sfx are the centerpeice is long gone,
intelligent, caring people around the world (and im sure there are loads of
them, depsite the world's sad state) actually look for more in a show than just
action and explosions.

bsg lives up to expectations and beyond imho and the progress of the story has
not halted. if you can't see that then i beleive you are missing the whole point.

don't get me wrong, i am not flaming anyone or being self-righteous, i am merely
expressing my view.

i hope they don't change the show for the worse and continue the way they have
always done. the recipie of this show is tasty and imo just gets better and
better!!!

cheers

i'm in agreement with those who think bsg has 'lost' (pun intended) it's way.
what is this unofficial truce with the cylons, why the constant repetitive
character renditions of burned out pilots and stressed out workers, we got it,
in fact we got it three episodes back. i'm beginning to suspect all these
'drama' eps are to save money on sfx. really is a shame, no way this show can
draw new viewers in it's current mode, i just hope it can keep the one's it has
long enough to grow some nuts, spend some money and if they have to, kill some
goddamn characters and make it interesting, and don't mourn them for 2 eps, keep
it real. supposed to be the last 40000 people fighting a force that could have
at least locked horns with all the colonies at full strenght. please do
something about this show, i miss it already and it's not even over. another
series of this second rate writing and cheapness does not inspire me at all. i
hope to the gods they fix this show.

ps. anyone else irritated by the constant use of the word 'frack', 'frack sake'
'frack this' 'frack you' 'frack it'

makes me frackin' sick

iteresting fact about this episode: spoler alert! (sorta...)

the end scene where adama smashes up his model sailing ship was improvised by
edward james olmos and was not part of the original script. olmos was unaware
that the model was not a prop. it was, in fact, a very expensive antique model
that was on loan from a museum.

roflmao! i don`t think they`ll be lending them stuff anymore :d

there's a bad audio screw up in a critical part of the story - is there going to
be a proper?
